Online Safety

Navigating the digital world can be both exciting and challenging. At Cyril Jackson Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that our students have a safe and positive online experience. This page is dedicated to providing you with advice, insightful guides, and useful resources to help you and your child understand and practice online safety.

Mandatory Online Safety Workshop

If you did not attend our annual online safety workshops in person, you must now watch this mandatory video presentation.

If you have any questions about the content of the video or require assistance in enabling parental controls and restrictions, please contact the school to arrange an appointment with our online safety team.

Online Safety Education

At Cyril Jackson Primary School, online safety is not only an integral part of our Computing offer but also woven through our wider curriculum. As a National Online Safety (NOS) accredited school we start each term with a day dedicate to learning more about an aspect of online safety – tailored to the needs of each year group.

Join our school’s free NOS subscription platform for advice, webinars, monthly updates, explainer videos and more…

To support children making safe choices in school, we adopt two acceptable use agreements, one for EYFS and KS1 and the other for KS2, these rules are displayed in all classes and computing suites.
