Model 4 is implemented when a pupil has been advised they are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV) and must shield, therefore they are unable to attend school. 

Due to the challenges of teaching pupils both in school and providing for those needing to undertake long term learning at home, some of the curriculum will need to be adapted.  We aim to offer the same curriculum remotely as is delivered in school - wherever possible and appropriate - with the exception of a number of adaptations in subjects such as Music, PE, Art, DT, and PSHE.  With Music, for example, children are unable to learn to play an instrument at home if they do not have access to the instrument. The remote lessons, where adaptations are made, will focus on the knowledge taught in that year group/unit of work.  These adaptations allow all students to engage with these subjects without being limited by their access to subject-specific school-based equipment.
